“Tabaluga returns home” – That’s the reason why Peter Maffay re-acquired all licensing, TV and movie rights to the “Tabaluga” character at the beginning of 2013. To provide the green dragon with overall rights management at its best, Peter Maffay founded Tabaluga Enterprises GmbH in July 2013. The new company operates under the umbrella brand “Red Rooster” that also includes the Peter Maffay Foundation, the Office Peter Maffay and the Red Rooster Studios. All companies are based in Tutzing on the bank of the Starnberger See in Germany. Concentrating and exercising all rights to Tabaluga under one roof, acting for the original author and writer and connecting the brand with all other divisions of Red Rooster helps to make decisions faster and more efficiently and creates the opportunity to produce strong synergy effects. Tabaluga Enterprises unites all different business areas and marketing aspects to further establish the positive awareness of the family brand “Tabaluga” in Germany and abroad. What is more, they pave the way for long-term funding of projects of the Peter Maffay Foundation.
