The Japanese animated TV show HAMTARO TALES is produced by TMS Kyokuichi Corp. ("Monster Rancher") and Shogakukan Production ("Pokémon"), which makes it predestined to be a great success. Hamtaro is based on a manga series by the popular Japanese artist Ritsuko Kawai.

Hamtaro is a cute, cuddly hamster – the pet of little Laura. Together with his “Ham-Ham” friends, a gang of hamsters similar to himself, Hamtaro every day faces great adventures… full of fun, excitement, thrill and friendship.
In Germany, RTL 2 aired all 104 Hamtaro episodes (30 minutes each) from September 23rd, 2002.
