Description:

Since 1980 and in more than 200 shows, the TV series "Löwenzahn" has been examining everyday phenomena, complicated technical equipment and scientific experiments. Explanations have always been entertaining and easy to understand at the same time.

Full of verve and curiosity the presenter searches, inquires, wonders and experiments until finally the penny drops, the solution has been found, the phenomenon is understood or the invention works properly.

Concept of the show
Young viewers are always inspired to go out and explore their surroundings themselves. With an average of more than a million viewers each Sunday the natural science show is one of the most popular children programmes on German TV. And not only young people belong to Löwenzahn’s regular audience.

A perfect composition of life-action scenes, unusual documentaries with exceptional visuals, cartoons, picture stories, animal observations and songs make this series unique and distinctive.

Success storyWrapped in an entertaining storyline the communication of knowledge is both unobtrusive and comprehendible.

“Although I already know the team and the set from the screen tests last year, I am quite nervous now,” said Guido Hammesfahr just before principal photography started. “After all, being Fritz Fuchs and the challenge of entertaining the Löwenzahn audience mark the beginning of a new stage in my work life.”

Guido Hammesfahr is Fritz Fuchs
Most people in Germany know Guido Hammesfahr from Anke Engelke’s comedy show "Ladykracher". In addition, he played his part in popular TV shows like "SOKO Köln", "Die Anrheiner", "Alarm für Cobra 11", "Ein Fall für zwei" – to name just a few - and made a name for himself as stage actor.

Hammesfahr is a real all-rounder. He sings, plays the guitar and the accordion; he loves arts and poetry and language games. His quick wits and puns perfectly contribute to the character “Fritz Fuchs”.

“Keks” is Fritz Fuchs’ loyal companion
In the new episodes, Fritz Fuchs welcomes his young audience together with his loveable Bernese Mountain dog “Keks”.
