The Rugrats’ stories revolve around a group of toddlers. Main character is Baby Tommy, living together with his mother Didi, father Stu, Grandpa Lou and Spike the Dog. Baby Tommy’s cousin Angelica sees herself far above the other toddlers, as she’s already three years old. The other toddlers, that are Chuckie Finster Jr., aged two and the twins Lil and Phil.

The animated series tells about everyday life and adventures from the viewpoint of the little ones.
