The little dog girl Lotte lives in a dog village at the coast. It’s the day when the birds pass her village on their way down south. And really, early in the morning a splendid swarm flies over the sea. Only one tiny little bird, has to make an emergency landing, because he is too weak. Pippo crashes from the sky – directly through the chimney – into Lotte’s living room. She immediately decides to help her new friend finding his bird swarm. So Lotte, Pippo, the inventor Oskar and far-travelled Klaus with his flying machine set out on an adventurous journey to the South – facing exiting new experiences and making a lot of new friends.
