Monrose was a German girl group consisting of members Mandy Capristo, Bahar Kizil and Senna Guemmour. The group was formed in 2006 in the fifth season of the casting show Popstars and won the show.

Monrose's music was a mixture of pop, R&B and dance-pop with catchy melodies and energetic beats. The lyrics were often inspired by strong, confident women and relationships.

Monrose released a total of four albums and had numerous chart successes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Their best-known hits include "Shame," "Hot Summer" and "This is me."

The group split in 2011 after a farewell tour. Since then, the members have pursued their own careers. Mandy Capristo is active as a solo artist and actress, Bahar Kizil as a songwriter and singer and Senna Guemmour as a presenter and author.
