The American action series, produced by Paul Scheuring was produced from 2005-2009. In 2010, the film Prison Break- The Final Break followed as a direct sequel, and then in 2017 the 5th season of the series was broadcast on the Fox channel. It received an award from the People Choice Awards in the category of Best New Television Drama. In addition, Prison Break was nominated for two Golden Globes. Lincoln, the brother of architect Michael Scofield is on death row at Fox River State Prison. Believing in his brother's innocence, Scoflied devises a very risky plan. Since he was involved in the construction of the prison, he has the escape plans hidden tattooed on his body and then commits a bank robbery to also end up behind bars. There he tries to implement his plan, but has to fight for his survival and adapt to the order that prevails there.
