Penelope is based on the children’s books “Pénélope tête en l‘air“, written by Anne Gutman. Three year old Penelope is something of a chatterbox and her sweet nature, insatiable curiosity and sense of humour are really quite irresistible. Full of fun, these positive little stories about Penelope’s everyday life with her family and friends are lovingly illustrated and told with humour and affection. The television series is on air on CBeebies in the UK and also on international broadcasters France 5; Jim Jam in Italy; TV2 in Norway; DR TV in Denmark; MTV3 in Finland; ABC in Australia; MNET in South Africa and more. Already successful in Japan, the licensing programme is in development for the UK market and has just been launched in France.
