Counterpoint Systems Inc., (“Counterpoint”) the world leader in software solutions for contract and rights management, royalty processing and product licensing for the brand licensing, media & entertainment, and music industries, has announced its’ latest addition to its Maestro™ range: License Maestro.

“License Maestro is the most technically advanced, functionally rich solution available on the market today,” says Vice President of Sales and Product Strategy, Ben Clasper. “We took all the knowledge we gained as the leading supplier of licensing solutions for over two decades and developed a completely new state of the art software solution.” he added.

Like the licensing industry itself, Counterpoint has grown over the years to accommodate the changing business and the complexities of licensing agreements being negotiated between licensors and licensees. According to Counterpoint’s CEO, Amos Biegun, “the company invested heavily in the development of License Maestro because the market demand was high for something new and innovative that could work in a more sophisticated manner with multiple departments and users dealing with ever demanding business processes and requirements. As the leaders in this space we felt it was our duty to ensure that technology did not get in the way of innovation for our clients and prospective customers.”

While the company’s predecessor solution, ProFiles, maintains a strong foothold at some of the world’s best known licensing companies and will continue to do so, License Maestro developers took lessons learned over the life of ProFiles and integrated those with results from in depth market research to create to an entirely new, more functionally rich solution for licensors, agencies, and licensees.

“We are very excited by the launch of License Maestro and remain dedicated to the ongoing investment needed to provide new solutions to the brand licensing industry,” says Biegun.
