Studio100 Media´s Hit TV Series The "House Of Anubis" Gears Up For The Big Screen

Movie premiere set for Spring 2012

Principal photography has begun for the teen movie the HOUSE OF ANUBIS.

Studio100 Media GmbH is theatrically releasing the film the HOUSE OF ANUBIS in co-operation with Nickelodeon Germany. Shooting of the film is taking place in Belgium with the movie premiere set for the Spring of 2012 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This successful TV series for kids aged 8 to 13 years is currently in its 6th season in the Benelux and is based on an idea by Hans Bourlon (CEO Studio100 NV) and Gert Verhulst (COO Studio100 NV).

In September 2009 the German version of the daily mystery soap the HOUSE OF ANUBIS began its run on Nickelodeon Germany for the German speaking territories. The English version followed by making its highly successful debut in America on Nickelodeon US at the beginning of 2011. The HOUSE OF ANUBIS is the first Nickelodeon US live action show produced in the UK by a European producer (Producer: Studio100 in association with Nickelodeon US and Lime Pictures).

Commenting on the teen movie, Patrick Elemendorff, Managing Director of Studio100 Media said, HOUSE OF ANUBIS is the first movie to kick-start our production strategy and we plan to produce and release several films „home grown‟ out of Germany in the future“.

The story: A group of teenagers live in a school boarding house and each member has his or her own story to tell, history and their path to maturity to discover. Their everyday life is impaired by not only love, happiness and joy but also by loneliness.In the movie the group will leave their familiar surroundings and be led directly into new adventures.

The movie presents a reunion with all of the stars of the series and more over new characters will be introduced who will affect the destiny of the group of teenagers.

Accompanied with the characters of the series will be the German celebrities Collien Fernandes (TV presenter and actor in several German movies and TV productions), Smudo (full time singer and songwriter of the hip hop band “Die Fantastischen Vier”, with experience in acting and as a synchron speaker) and Bert Tischendorfer (actor).
