Several eastern countries eager to air Spanish company’s recent productions

BRB Internacional has signed on to the conquest of eastern Europe. Currently, several of the most recent cartoon series produced by the Spanish company are being broadcast in that part of the world, and others have just been acquired by channels there.

In fact, as the new edition of DISCOP – the principal audiovisual marketing fair for the region – is just getting underway in Hungary, the adventures of Iron Kid (26 x 30’) as well as The Invisible Man (26 x 30’) are followed there through MEGAMAX, the new youth-oriented channel belonging to Chellomedia. Likewise, the funny guessing-game show Zoobabu (104 x 2’) has just been bought by both RTV Slovenija, the Slovenian public TV station, and the open-programming channel Tring of Albania, which has also acquired the pleasantly engaging dis-adventures of Kambu (52 x 7’).

Meanwile, The Imp (65 x 90”), the most enchanting little devil on TV, is being aired in Poland on Canal+. And the fun-filled boys-vs-girls disagreements of Angus&Cheryl (104 x 2’) are enjoying success in Russia, on Muz TV.

Also, Silk TV has just acquired for open-broadcast in Kazakhstan the screwball-sketch comedy personified by Bernard (156 x 3’). The curious polar bear who travels the world without a clue as to how it works is very well-known in Russia thanks to the 2x2 Channel, and he is also very popular throughout much of the rest of eastern Europe, thanks to HBO.
