Julian Barbier joins Imira Entertainment

 

Imira Entertainment, Spain’s leading production and distribution company specialising in youth programming, is growing its licensing division with new appointment Julian Barbier as Head of Licensing.

Barbier joins Imira from Biplano in Spain, where he handled the licensing of major brands for clients including Dreamworks Animation, Nickelodeon and Sony Pictures. At Imira, he will be tasked with managing and developing the company’s properties in Spain and Portugal, as well as creating and managing an international network of local licensing agents for Imira’s slate of entertainment brands.

We offer a unique one stop shop when TV & Licensing & Merchandising rights are managed jointly. Imira has a wide-ranging slate of licensed entertainment properties including in-house productions Lola & Virginia, Sandra, the Fairytale Detective and Saari alongside successful third party brands such as H2O:Just Add Water and The Elephant Princess from Jonathan M Shiff, ZDF and ZDF Enterprises’ and Kumis®, a colourful Japanese-inspired, seven year old brand created by Spain’s La Habitación de Nekane. New brand TV series with International Licensing rights will be announced shortly.
