Cinema Invitation from Pfanni and Mondamin:
Special Sales Promotion to the Theatrical Release of “Lauras Stern und die Traummonster“

Warner Bros. Consumer Products - August 2011

Pfanni and Mondamin provide consumers with a special “2 for 1” ticket voucher for a very special family event and a rise in sales in this category. Promotion packages are available in August and September 2011. The promotion offer is valid from 13 October - 30 November 2011. When buying a regular cinema ticket, cinema-goers will receive another ticket for free on production of the promotion voucher. The vouchers can only be spent on the new silver screen adventure “Lauras Stern und die Traummonster”.

On occasion of the theatrical release of “Lauras Stern und die Traummonster” on 13 October 2011 Mondamin and Pfanni especially target young families and provide young and not-so-young consumers with a wonderful cinema experience. The special promotion activity is focused on Pfanni Instant Mashed Potatoes, Mini Potato Dumplings, Mini Bread Dumplings and the sweet food from Mondamin – rice pudding, semolina pudding, cut-up and sugared German pancake, vanilla pudding and, of course, the classic chocolate pudding. All products features the appealing “on-pack vouchers”.

A clear advantage for consumers: Each promotion package entitles them to receive one cinema ticket for free, when they buy a regular ticket at the box office. This activity wins acclaim for its simplicity: Consumers to not have to collect logos or register on the internet – they just buy a Pfanni or Mondamin promotion product and produce the “2 for 1” voucher at their local theatre.

“We engage in this appealing promotion activity to generate new impulse for the category of instant mashed potatoes and sweet food. We are positive to attract new customers to the market and win new consumers for this category”, says Dr. Tina Fehling, Senior Brand Manager, Pfanni and Mondamin. The high quality “on-pack vouchers” are easy to spend and thus have huge potential to boost Unilever’s “Sales per Shop” in Germany.
