AT New Media, license acquisition agent for Neon Play/Jick Jack, has revealed that two new apps from the company have stormed into the top 5 of the Kids App Charts.

Neon Play develops fantastic gaming content for mobile platforms such as iPod, iPhone and Android and Jick Jack is the company’s children’s division, responsible for developing games based on top global kids’ licenses. The new apps feature award-winning pre-school property Little Princess and the phenomenally successful boys’ brand Ben 10. The Little Princess app – Little Princess I Want to Play! - offers four fun, colourful and exciting games for pre-schoolers called Dress Up, Bath Time, Bunny Bop and Pairs, whilst Ben 10 app OmniGames lets players test their alien abilities in three different missions – Call of the Wildmutt, Fourarms Smash and XLR8 to the Rescue. Both apps have proved to be a huge hit with kids and Little Princess I Want to Play! now occupies the No. 1 spot on the chart, with Ben 10 OmniGames currently at No.4.

The development of both apps was made possible by the work of AT New Media, which successfully brokered deals with licensors to provide Jick Jack with the rights to produce digital content based on the properties.

“Jick Jack came to us with a remit to acquire rights to top global kids’ brands that could work in a digital format,” says Simon Kay of AT New Media. Little Princess and Ben 10 fitted the bill perfectly and were specifically targeted due to their popularity in key markets. This latest news is testament to Jick Jack’s innovation and success in translating both brands into the digital space.”

Oli Christie, CEO of Jick Jack/Neon Play commented, “Without AT New Media’s contacts in the industry, we wouldn’t have been able to secure these premium licences. We’re delighted with the success of the games and the feedback we’ve had from children and parents alike.”
