Battersea Dogs & Cats Home prepares for Brand Licensing Europe 2014

Brand Licensing Europe - September 2014

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is busy preparing for Brand Licensing Europe 2014 with the focus this year on attracting new partners for both its adult and children’s brand licensing programmes. To complement its existing ranges the Home is seeking licensees for adult and children’s apparel, accessories, gift, stationery, toys and games as well as home-wares.

These new categories will support children’s products launched during 2014 which include toddler t-shirts from Casa Chicos, aprons by Shreds, pet guide books from Franklin Watts and truly amazing dog and cat costumes from Smiffys.

Battersea’s brand licensing programme has seen great success over the past year with its range of pet toys by Rupert’s Pet Shop, available in over 300 Tesco stores, as well as its Sunday Times Top Ten best seller ‘Lost & Found’, a compelling collection of stories from the Home published by Penguin Books Ltd.

Artwork available for the licensing programme includes Battersea’s own delightful contemporary and vintage photographic imagery as well as the fun and creative original illustrations by Jason Chapman.

Battersea has also had great success with the National Television Award-winning prime time show, ‘Paul O’Grady, For the Love of Dogs’, which will be on air on ITV1 for its third series this Autumn. The show has been delighting television audiences with its funny, uplifting and inspirational stories.

The Home is also delighted to have been chosen by Advanstar as one of the show’s charities for Brand Licensing Europe 2014 and The Home’s stand (N30) will feature some of its canine friends including the Show’s mascot, Squirt the Staffie. Battersea invites retailers and licensees alike to visit its stand and meet Squirt and hear about its unique and compelling brand licensing programme.
