4sight licensing solutions, part of 4Kids Entertainment International, has announced details of a new agreement with Celestial Imports Ltd that will see a range of new products hit the UK high street based on Chicaloca - the aspirational fashion property that represents the independent, fun-loving, confident and trendy attitude and lifestyle of modern teen and tween girls.

The new line will feature earmuffs, a hot water bottle and a fantastic slipper set containing slippers, foot soak, foot wash and foot scrub. The goods will be available in a leading department store across the country and will join an exclusive range of Chicaloca products - these include a toiletries and cosmetics line from SLG that features a lip-gloss collection, indulgent bath & body sets and travel toiletry wallets, and a range of items by Peers Hardy such as lockable diaries, notebooks and umbrellas. The SLG line will be the first to hit the shelves in September, with the other products following later in the year.

It’s not just the UK where Chicaloca is proving to be a hit - 4sight now represents the brand across the whole of Europe and has been successful in building a continental licensing programme, with BLGS Hometextile developing beach products that include 42 different designs of beach towel and 10 designs of flip-flops. The range will launch in 2012 across Spain and Italy. Chicaloca is also set to appear in digital format, with Saicon Ltd currently developing Chicaloca games for both Facebook and the iPhone.
