Africa Safari in Child Rooms

The natural habitat savannah with its vast herds and its sly predators has always been fascinating many children. Now zebras, giraffes, and many beasts more move into German child rooms: Playmobil offers new play adventures and invites children to immerse in the great wildlife of Africa.

In the ranger and animal breeding station rangers watch the reservation and nurse sick animals. Thanks to dressings and plasters the baby animals in the open-air enclosure are soon fit enough to return to their natural habitat. On exciting excursions by airplane and in their all-terrain vehicle rangers and their safari guests observe animals in the wild. Six bags with popular, highly detailed animals – from leopards with babies to funny warthogs – add to the magnificent play world.

With the new play sets little fans of animals playfully learn about African wildlife and assume the role of junior rangers – the perfect start for hours of role playing games.

Playmobil has a long-standing tradition of African wildlife playsets: The first wild animal in the history of this classic toy brand was the lion back in 1979. One of the first zebras came without stripes: The Playmobil Color range (end of the 1970ies to the 1990ies) encouraged children to paint the animals themselves, using the included pens. Also the chimpanzee is a real Playmobil classic: Unchanged since 1984, it comes out of the machine as a single piece – and fully moving. More than 1,200 different Playmobil animal figures have been created in the last four decades.
