Celebrities Entertainment now market the rights to the 3D animation film “The Boy with the Cuckoo-Clock Heart”, scheduled for theatrical release in 2012. The feature film is based upon the bestselling book ("La Mécanique Du Coeur") written by Mathias Malzieu, whose band Dionysos also provide the music to the film with their double-gold winning album "La Mécanique Du Coeur". The film is a fairy tale movie for grown-ups and children alike. Mathias Malzieu masterly transcends the boundaries between literature for adults and literature for children. "The Boy with the Cuckoo-Clock Heart" is an exciting combination of entertainment, adventure, emotion and terrific animation. The lead character Jack is born 1874 in Edinburgh. It’s the coldest day of the year and if it had not been for Madeleine, half witch and half shaman, who saves him and replaces his frozen heart with a cuckoo-clock, Jack would have died on his very first day. From then on Jack has to wind up his cuckoo-clock heart every morning.
That’s the beginning of a fascinating retro-modern fairy tale for the whole family.
