Nuremberg Toy Fair / Agent Meeting 2011
2011 meant a very special Toy Fair for VIPO Land! Exhibiting for the 7th time, VIPO Land has now become a part of Globe Edutainment, a new parent company which also embraces OppTalk, Time Island Virtual World and Microsteps. All projects can be marketed individually, but also have points of contact. "VIPO Yummy" is only one of many examples for a concept which combines our beloved children's character with the new, unique OppTalk technology to promote healthy cooking and nutrition. Reactions to all new projects have been extremely positive and many agents attended our booth over several days to meet numerous clients.
On Friday, February 4th, VIPO Land invited again to the annual Agent's Meeting at Sheraton hotel. After the presentations of the current status of the VIPO brand and the introduction of the new projects more than 30 guests and VIPO Land's company staff enjoyed dinner and many interesting, creative and funny conversations! We would like to thank all attendees for their time and hope to see you again in 2012! |

VIPO Land signs agreements with vtmKzoom in Belgium for both TV series
VIPO Land signed a broadcasting agreement with vtmKzoom for both VIPO programs. The channel is part of the Vlaamse Media Maatschappij NV (Vmma) group and has become Belgium’s most popular children’s station over the past month. The first VIPO series in its new HD version is expected to go on air in Dutch/Flemish language in March, the second series will follow later in 2011. Vmma will also act as Licensing Representative for the VIPO brand in Benelux. |

Both VIPO TV series will be broadcast on JEI TV in South Korea
JEI TV in South Korea acquired the TV rights for both VIPO programs. The agreement was mediated by Agaworld E&T Co.,Ltd., VIPO Land’s representative in Korea. The program start for “Adventures of the Flying Dog” in its new HD version and in Korean language is expected within the next six weeks and for “Surviving Time Island” in the late summer. |

TTNet acquires rights for IPTV, WebTV and mobile VoD of VIPO 1 in Turkey
Turkish broadband internet provider TTNet, a subsidiary company of Türk Telekom, acquired the rights for IPTV, WebTV and mobile VoD for the first VIPO series “Adventures of the Flying Dog” in Turkish language. The cooperation will start in early 2011. In addition, TRT Cocuk, the Free TV children’s platform of National Turkish Television, announced several more runs of the TV series in 2011. |

TIGA Entertainment acquires DVD rights for VIPO 1 and 2 in Thailand
VIPO Land has closed a DVD license agreement with TIGA Entertainment, based in Bangkok, Thailand. The launch for VIPO 1 (“Adventures of the Flying Dog”) in Thai language is scheduled for June 2011 and will use the new, remastered High Definition version of the program. The launch of the 2nd series “Surviving Time Island with VIPO & Friends“ is planned for September 2011.
