It’s time for girls to make their mark as Nickelodeon Consumer Products International signs deals across the product categories for its girls’ properties.
In Germany, Kaufmann Neuheiten is set to launch Dora the Explorer and iCarly car accessories this summer. The deal, covering distribution in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, is for car accessories and includes a variety of car sunshades, storage bins, air fresheners, organisers, seatbelt pads and neck pillows, and back seat protectors.
Girls love cute accessories, so the new deal with Lugar Difusion in Spain and Portugal for Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants is set to be a hit. The deal covershair clips, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, fancy belts, neck pillows, patches, zip pulls, badges, shoelaces and buttons, brushes, mirrors and combs.
Also in Spain, D’Arpeje is taking girls on a special adventure with Dora the Explorer roller skates roller blades, knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, helmets and sport bottles. |

In two separate girls’ deals in South Africa, Dora the Explorer outerwear and sleepwear is being launched by Seardel and Rank Sharp is producing SpongeBob SquarePants wellington boots and casual shoes.
As it readies for the launch of girls’ fairy friends animation Winx Club and live action sitcom Victorious, which follows the highs and lows of aspiring singer Tori Vega, NCP UK is inking as many girls’ deals for SpongeBob SquarePants as it is for more obvious girls’ properties, with multi-territory agreements at the fore.
Among them, both Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants baking and party products such as character shaped cake tins and bakery decorations, are launching through Wilton Industries in the UK, Eire, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Benelux and France.
And for the perfect girls’ gift, Gemma International is launching a range of Dora the Explorer greeting cards, gift and roll wrap in the UK, Eire, Cyprus and Malta. |

Star Cutouts is focussing on SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and iCarly plus Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in a deal for life size cardboard character cut outs, that will add to the fun at any party.
NCP UK has also signed three separate girl focussed technology accessory deals. Accessories 4 Technology is launching Dora the Explorer computer console accessories in UK, Eire, Benelux, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.
Lazerbuilt is launching SpongeBob SquarePants mobile phone and MP3 accessories UK, Eire, while Zeon is producing computer accessories and gift lines in the UK and Eire, also for SpongeBob SquarePants. | |
