Global brands gear up for Licensing International Expo

Show organizers announced that close to 300 companies from all over the world have already signed up to exhibit at the 31st Licensing International Expo, taking place June 14- 16, 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. "The hottest brands are going to be at this year's show," said Liz Crawford, show director. "The growth the show is experiencing is very strong. The show floor is almost 85% sold out, and our pre-registered attendance is pacing well ahead of last year."

Exhibiting companies include Hollywood studios, toy companies, television and entertainment companies, celebrity licensors, artists, gaming and interactive companies, fashion companies and other companies looking to license out their properties. "It's a varied mix of brands this year," continued Crawford. "We have over 5000 brands showcasing their properties on the show floor- including Creative Artists Agency, Smith and Wesson, Fender Guitars, Electronic Arts, Sega, Angry Birds/Striker Entertainment, UNICEF, Zhu Zhu Pets and more."

International attendance and exhibitor participation is also very strong. Top companies from Latin America, New Zealand, Australia, China, Japan, Mexico, France, Canada, Thailand and Europe have registered to attend.
