Zodiak Kids, Zodiak Media Group’s children’s production and distribution arm, has concluded a number of television sales deals for the hit preschool property LITTLE PRINCESS™.
Series 3 (35x11’) of the television series has been acquired by: ABC TV Australia; Discovery Latin America; ATV for Hong Kong; DR1 in Denmark, Thai PBS, Czech TV, TVO Canada and RUV Iceland.
The Little Princess television series is based on the best-selling children’s picture books by award-winning author/illustrator Tony Ross. Three series (100x11’) and two specials (2x22’) of Little Princess have been made at The Illuminated Film Company’s studio.
Zodiak Rights acquired the rights to the pre-school property in November 2010. The series currently airs on Five’s MILKSHAKE! slot in the UK and on numerous channels internationally including NRK Super (Norway), SVT Barnkanalen (Sweden) and Ki.Ka (Germany).
Zodiak Rights holds all international broadcast rights (excluding Japan and Korea) and all licensing and merchandising rights (excluding publishing) to Little Princess. |
