Giochi Preziosi, Planeta Junior and Marathon Media are delighted to announce that Juguetes y Peluches La Gran Familia is the latest firm to join the growing list of Gormiti licensees; having completed a deal to produce Gormiti licensed plush balls for young fans across Iberia.

Planeta Junior, GP’s licensing agent for Iberia, set up the agreement which will see Spain based Juguetes y Peluches La Gran Familia, produce a range of 50cm and 25cm stuffed inflatable balls, with designs inspired by the Gormiti TV series. Products will be available for spring 2011 across Spain and Portugal.

GP’s licensing director, Graziano Delmaestro, commented on the deal: “We are delighted to be working on this new project with La Gran Familia, to produce more merchandised product for young Gormiti fans in Iberia. As a leading provider of classic toys, the deal has created a valuable partner for the region, and we are confident in the success of the new collection.”

Juguetes y Peluches La Gran Familia is renowned for producing great play value toys with strong appeal to kids. Jorge Ramírez from the company said: “Adding Gormiti to our list of licenses is a great opportunity for us to reach the growing number of fans in Iberia.
