Bright Group International has announced the appointment of Lauren Holowaty as Children’s Literary Agent, running the Bright Literary Agency. This division is responsible for picture book and fiction authors, and developing new content.

Lauren joins BLA from Penguin Children’s Books, and brings with her a wealth of editorial, publishing and licensing experience. She represents original and bespoke children's book writers and author/illustrators, as well as providing editorial services.
Lauren joins a successful team at the Bright Literary Agency, which caters for all print and digital storytelling needs, providing educational expertise, illustrated picture book ideas, sensational fiction writing, and authors of everything from tiny tot board books, to chart-topping young adult paperbacks. Top authors represented include, Sue Hendra, author of pre-school favourite, Barry the Fish with Fingers, Will Brenton, the genius behind the hit kids show, The Tweenies, and Skins novel author, Ali Cronin.
