FINNKINO acquires DVD rights for VIPO 2 in Finland

VIPO Land has closed a home entertainment license agreement with FINNKINO, Finland’s leading cinema and DVD distributor, for the 2nd VIPO series “Surviving Time Island with VIPO & Friends”. The brand-new program will be completed in April and has also been acquired by children’s TV station MTV 3 Juniori: the channel has already aired VIPO 1 successfully during the past three years. The DVDs will be published by FINNKINO as four titles. The market launch is expected in September 2011, after the broadcast started on TV.

Tiglon Ltd acquires DVD rights for VIPO 1 in Turkey

VIPO Land has closed a home entertainment license agreement with Tiglon Ltd, based in Istanbul, Turkey. The launch of the first two DVDs and Video-CDs for “Adventures of the Flying Dog” is in preparation. The series has recently been broadcast on TRT Cocuk again. Tiglon is the major home entertainment company in Turkey and distributes titles from Disney, Warner, 20th Century Fox etc. This new agreement was mediated by Miya Dis Tic Ltd, VIPO Land’s licensing representative in Turkey.

PRIS Video acquires DVD rights for VIPO 1 in Portugal

VIPO Land has closed a home entertainment license agreement with PRIS Audiovisuais S.A., based in Sao Joao da Madeira, Portugal. The product launch of the DVDs for “Adventures of the Flying Dog” in Portugal will start in June 2011. The TV series has been broadcast on Canal Panda in the past, new broadcasting contracts are in negotiation at the moment. This new agreement was mediated by Planeta Junior in Spain.
