Retail promotional event at toy store chain Korablik helps introducing SpongeBob SquarePants licensed product in Russia

 

Nickelodeon Consumer Products, a division of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), today announced the first-ever SpongeBob SquarePants retail promotion in Russia, brokered through Plus Licens, Europe's largest independent licensing company.

The SpongeBob SquarePants joint retail promotion with Russian toy store chain Korablik will comprise plush from C-Trade, PVC balls from John-Rus/John GmbH and personal care products from Cotton Club. Taking place during May 13-29, the campaign will also include dedicated POS materials, meet-and-greet character appearances and digital banners at the dedicated localised Nickelodeon website (www.nickelodeon.ru). Korablik has more than 50 stores in Moscow and its surroundings.

Further recent consumer products licensing deals brokered by Plus Licens in the territory include TD Eldorado for apparel, Academy Group for stationery and Kidstime LLC for accessories such as clocks, watches, mugs and key chains. All products will be available nationwide in major retailers including Metro, Auchan, Real and Korablik.

In addition, SpongeBob character is published and available to audiences in Russia via the monthly activity magazine Gubka Bob i ego Druzya ('SpongeBob and his Friends') as well as four quarterly special issues published by Izdatelstvo Komiks. The Russian publishing program also covers SpongeBob SquarePants books from Egmont Russia to launch this Fall.
