4sight licensing solutions, part of 4Kids Entertainment International, has announced details of a series of new agreements for top brand Chicaloca - the aspirational fashion property from South Korean licensor Project109 that represents the independent, fun-loving, confident and trendy attitude and lifestyle of modern girls.

Following the success of the growing licensing programme in the UK, France and Belgium, Chicaloca is now to be represented by 4sight across the whole of Europe.

An exclusive range of branded merchandise, aimed at 8-14 year olds, will hit the shelves of a leading department store in the UK. A toiletries and cosmetics range from SLG, that will include a lip gloss collection, indulgent bath & body sets and travel toiletry wallets, will be launching from October 2011 and this will be joined by a range of gift items developed by Peers Hardy, which are designed to complement the SLG lines and will include items such as lockable diaries, notebooks and necklace sets.

4sight has also brought on board BLGS Hometextile, which is developing beach products that make full use of Chicaloca’s visual appeal, with 42 different designs of beach towel and 10 designs of flip flops. The range is set to launch in 2012 across Spain and Italy.

Another of the new agreements has enabled Saicon Ltd to develop a brand new Chicaloca Facebook game - this free to play game lets players choose a virtual fashion model, buy Chicaloca clothes and accessories using virtual money, dress their model and take part in fashion shows where they can compete for unique prizes against other users. Young girls are avid users of social media so the game is likely to prove hugely popular when it launches this summer, along with a brand new Chicaloca game for the iPhone.
