Zodiak Kids, Zodiak Media Group’s children’s production and distribution arm, has concluded a number of licensing deals for the hit pre-school property LITTLE PRINCESS™.

Aurora World UK has acquired the rights to develop a Little Princess plush range for launch in early 2012, while this summer, Neon Play will launch the first Little Princess app for iPad, iPhone and Android platforms. The app will include six Little Princess games featuring all the favourite characters. Zodiak Kids has also renewed their compilation magazine publishing deal with Kennedy Publishing who will continue to feature dedicated Little Princess pages within their Pink, Cute, Busy Time & Get Busy titles. Internationally, Zodiak Kids has renewed Panini’s deal to produce Little Princess calendars in Germany and include dedicated Little Princess pages within their compilation magazines published in France and Germany. Zodiak Kids has recently appointed two new agents in Asia and Australia and New Zealand. Empire will represent the brand in Asia across all categories excluding publishing and DVD, while Merchantwise is the appointed licensing partner in Australia and New Zealand.

Other exciting new ventures for Little Princess are currently being finalized, and further announcements will follow shortly.

Zodiak Kids acquired the rights to the pre-school property from The Illuminated Film Company in November 2010. The series currently airs on Channel 5’s milkshake! slot in the UK and is going from strength-to-strength.

Zodiak Kids has recently concluded international deals for the new third series with ABC TV Australia; Discovery Kids Latin America; ATV Hong Kong; DR1 Denmark, Thai PBS, Czech TV, TVO Canada and RUV Iceland.

Zodiak Rights holds all international broadcast rights (excluding Japan and Korea) and all licensing and merchandising rights (excluding publishing) to Little Princess.
