Heading into Licensing Show 2011, Toei Animation has finalized a number of DVD and licensing deals within Latin America for Dragon Ball Z and Saint Seiya, it was announced today by Eduardo Lucio, Senior Sales Manager for Toei Animation.

Dragon Ball Z:
Chenson (Mexico) for backpacks; Superbrands (Brazil) for toothbrushes.

Saint Seiya:
Playarte (Brazil) DVD’s for Saint Seiya: The Hades Elysion and the movie, Saint Seiya: Heavens Tenkaihen; Pizzitoys (Brazil) series Dioramas.

“We’re delighted to have Chenson, Superbrands, Playarte and Pizzitoys join as our newest blue chip Latin American licensees for our Dragon Ball and Saint Seiya brands,” said Lucio. ”We are excited about this year’s licensing show and look forward to unveiling our newest licensing programs for all of our globally renowned animated brands.”
