The Smiley Company and Wal-Mart stores Inc. have today announced that they have resolved their trademark dispute currently pending in the United States. The terms of the settlement agreement are confidential.

Nicolas Loufrani (CEO of The Smiley Company) says: “I am very happy to have finalised this ten year old dispute which was affecting our development on the US market. We now have major extension plans for our brand on what was once our number one market in the world and will for sure become it once again”.
