Zodiak Kids, Zodiak Media Group’s children’s production and distribution arm, has extended distribution for their live-action kids’ show Summer In Transylvania to Nickelodeon in Germany, Italy, Benelux, Nordic, Spain and Portugal. Summer In Transylvania originally premiered on Nickelodeon in the UK.

Nickelodeon has acquired the rights to 20X30’ episodes of the contemporary live action comedy series, which follows the exploits of popular school girl Summer Farley. When the Farley family relocates to Transylvania, Summer is faced with monstrous new challenges in her new world including a community made up of zombies, werewolves, vampires and mummies.

Summer in Transylvania is created and written by Andy Watts who also created the hugely popular BAFTA nominated My Parents Are Aliens, which ran for eight series; and produced by Candida Julian-Jones (Kerching!, Gina’s Laughing Gear, Class) and associate producer on Red Dwarf and Spitting Image. The Executive Producer for The Foundation is Nigel Pickard. |
