Royal Navy

This year’s Brand Licensing Show sees the launch of the brand new Royal Navy Style Guide. This new guide shows the three key brands (Royal Navy, Royal Marines and HM Armed Forces) and presents the breadth of inspiration available to licensees, including uniforms, badges, historical documents, photographs, ship names, locations, phrases, slang, subject matter experts and more. The guide also shows examples of how this can be brought to life on a variety products from travel accessories to men’s gifts.

This year saw the nationwide launch of a range of sports casual apparel, designed by Next, inspired by the Royal Navy, with distribution across 42 stores and featured in the Next Directory which reaches over 2 million people.

The Royal Navy stand will include stunning photography and video material of their critical operations across the world and also enable potential licensees to meet Royal Navy Officers and learn more about this incredible enduring brand.

Indeed sales have been so strong that the range has been taken up this year by British Airways retail (both short and long haul flights) and Virgin Atlantic. Citizen are now working closely with the Reds to develop a very special limited edition watch and cufflink set, with cufflinks made from a airframe section from a Red Arrows Hawk.
