SEGA® Corporation has signed on a number of new licensees over the last 12 months and a lot of new Sonic merchandise is set to hit retail shelves this Autumn. Blueprint has developed a contemporary range of stationery and BTS items which launched with retailers such as WH Smith, Ryman, Debenhams, Next, Tesco, Morrison, Hamley’s and Toys R Us.
Other products to launch include lunch bag and drink bottle from Spearmark, greeting cards and partyware from Gemma International, confectionery items from Kinnerton, and RC vehicles from Zappies. The products from Spearmark have already launched a few months back in TRU and Next, and also hit the shelves of Tesco, Morrison, and Debenhams for back to school.
Gemma’s greeting cards and partyware already received a warm welcome from Clinton Cards, while TRU, The Entertainer, ASDA and WH Smith are launching products from the range this Autumn. Kinnerton are doing a soft launch of two SKUs including a Sonic money bank with golden chocolate coins and a tin with marshmallows. Debenhams and Tesco have taken both of these items and there are more SKUs in the pipeline for next year. Finally, Zappies have confirmed listings for the RC vehicles in Tesco, TRU, Amazon, Play.com and more. |
