Studio100 Media Enters Into An Agreement With RTS For Re-Mastered Classics

Studio100 Media GmbH, a subsidiary of Belgium’s leading family entertainment group Studio100 has entered into an agreement with French/Swiss broadcaster RTS (Radio Television Suisse) for several series from its programming library.

The agreement finalized today, gives RTS exclusive FreeTV rights for the newly re-mastered 3D animation series’ Maya the Bee (78 x 11’), Vicky the Viking (78 x 11’) and Heidi (78 x 11’) over a four-year period with unlimited runs, commencing from availability.

In addition RTS has also acquired the animation series Pippi Longstocking (26 x 24’) for a period of four years.

Stars of the well-known classic television shows, Maya the Bee, Vicky the Viking and Heidi boast a TV career spanning over 30 years and in their new animated series these much loved characters will be revived and modernized in 3D animation respectively.

The three new re-mastered animations will be produced by Studio100 Animation, with Maya the Bee in association with TF1 and ZDF and Vicky the Viking and Heidi in collaboration with Flying Bark Productions. Delivery of these shows is set for the latter part of 2012 and 2013 and 2014 respectively.
