KJG Ltd, licensing agent for Pip the Cat, has signed a deal that will see the launch of a fantastic range of stationery featuring the top design property.
This latest deal adds to a strong and diverse licensing programme, with the brand represented across a wide variety of categories through a range of partners. These include Bluebird Brands, which has launched a range of mugs, coasters, purses, wallets and umbrellas that are set to go on sale through TK Maxx stores nationwide, whilst Alligator has a license for gift bags and boxes and Raiseprint is producing fridge magnets. Shreds is also on board for a variety of products aimed at 2 to 4 year olds, such as aprons, mini tote bags, giftpack melamine sets and lunchbags, which are selling well through outlets including Amazon and Harrods. Publishing is also proving to be a growth sector for the brand, with Pip the Cat featuring in both Sparkle World and Easy Peazy, two best-selling magazines for young girls. “Pip makes a lovely addition to our popular design-based characters in our stationery, gift and craft ranges. The cute, distinctive imagery is very appealing to young girls and adults alike. We are already taking pre-orders from some fantastic high street retailers and will launch early 2012,“ says Andrew Hicks, Managing Director, Robert Frederick Ltd. “Pip the Cat is a strong and vibrant design property and is absolutely perfect for this new range,” adds Kirsty Guthrie, from KJG Ltd, “the initial designs look fantastic and the finished products are sure to fly off the shelves!” |
