Created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for mature audiences, the show has become famous for its dark, satirical and surreal humour mocking a wide range of topics and follows the out-of-the-ordinary adventures of four boys – Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman and Kenny McCormick – in the titular Colorado town. South Park has achieved phenomenal success and is now seen in more than 140 countries worldwide in more than 40 languages. In 1999 the series spawned a successful spin-off movie ‘South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut’. |
