First-of-its-kind Ride System will take Riders on a Fantastical Journey through Space and Time

RGH Themed Entertainment, designer and project manager for The Red Sea Astrarium (TRSA), is pushing the limits of technology with a first-of-its kind ride system for the Cradle of Inspiration, one of a number of spectacular attractions now in development for the US $1.5 billion leisure-resort in Aqaba, Jordan.

“Our design for the Cradle of Inspiration experience is a ride that will take visitors on a fantastical journey through space and time, reaching a force of 1G and traveling 12 vertical meters in under 3 seconds,” said Lenny Larsen, Director of Themed Entertainment at RGH. “The ride will reach a maximum speed of 10 meters per second in a vehicle that will pitch, roll and spin while fully immersed in over 500 square meters of spherical projection covering a 360-degree by 210-degree field.”

RGH Themed Entertainment, a division of Rubicon Group Holding (RGH), is the designer and project manager for TRSA and is driving the concept forward. RGH is working in concert with recognized partners around the world to bring TRSA from concept into reality to shine as an unforgettable experience for visitors and a world-renowned leisure destination.

“We are absolutely thrilled with the progress our themed entertainment division is making on TRSA. These newly announced developments on the design of the Cradle of Inspiration are just the first of many innovative new design and engineering concepts that will serve to make TRSA a groundbreaking and remarkable leisure destination that caters to every variety of visitors,” said RGH CEO Randa Ayoubi.
