Elvis is still alive – at H&M

Celebrities Entertainment - November 2011

Today icon licensing is the hottest trend on the market. T-shirts, bags and accessories of all kinds featuring photos of celebrities and legends are real money-spinners. In marketing Elvis Presley, the officially registered brand of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Celebrities Entertainment presents one of world’s most famous and popular musicians of all times. Elvis Presley extended his influence on the world of music like no one else before or after him. Even today, 35 years after his death, he remains omnipresent. In addition to numerous European licensing partners from the textile industry, also international fashion retailers warm to the Elvis theme. Potential and existing licensees use the name Elvis, Elvis Presley and other registered brand names as well as a graphic portfolio of more than 80 000 pictures including photographs and scenes from Elvis movies.
This year, Elvis branded t-shirt entered H&M retail shelves in the UK; the German H&M launch of Elvis designs is scheduled for January 2012. ZARA and Benetton Group have developed their own collections dedicated to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. However, Celebrities Entertainment has not only been able to sign textile manufacturers and retailers - The Juice will release their animated 4D film “Elvis Rocks” to 4D theatres worldwide; Elmo & Montegrappa from Italia are currently working on high end writing utensils, whereas WMF Consumer Electric GmbH have already launched their Elvis branded kitchenware following the design of the American Diners during the 1950ies and 60ies. Another highlight for 2012 is the “Elvis Presley in Concert” tour: The show re-unites Elvis’ former band mates on stage and features "state of the art" Elvis videos on large screens – a real highlight, not only for fans. 15 concerts are in the pipeline for Europe – two shows for Germany (Hamburg and Frankfurt) in March.

The Celebrities Entertainment team is always happy to assist with detailed information on the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and additional licensing opportunities.
