During the “Snoopy-Tour 2011” from middle of November through beginning of December Snoopy, the most popular character of the PEANUTS comic strip, visited different social institutions throughout Germany. Snoopy brought happiness and fabulous presents to the children, he made their eyes sparkle with joy and took them into a different world. |
The most popular beagle from the PEANUTS comic strips visited 12 selected day care centers to thank his little fans and he came with many presents for the children. It was the aim of the tour to visit numerous institutions supported by BILD hilft e.V. - „Ein Herz für Kinder” (A Heart For Children) and to carry the children for some hours into the world of the PEANUTS to cheer them up and sometimes comfort them.

Frankfurt, Essen, Leipzig, Berlin, Hamburg und Hannover were part of the tour plan of the famous comic character. The children Snoopy visited in the institutions were extremely delighted about the diversion. They romped and caressed the oversized plush dog. „You are a dog and so soft“, commented Luna (5 years) from Frankfurt and courageously caressed Snoopy’s fluffy plush coat. She will remember fondly the fantastic time with the big dog, like all the other children.
The “Snoopy Tour 2011” supports BILD hilft e.V. - „Ein Herz für Kinder“. The project is sponsored by the PEANUTS rights owners, the licensing agency Team! Licensing and their partner companies. Thanks to the generous donations from Bullyland (figurines), Edel Germany (audio story telling CD), Egmont Ehapa (bags), EuroSales (sticker), Rübezahl Schokoladen (chocolate), United Labels (money banks) and the assistance of the different partners the tour was a great success. |
