Licensing New Europe Becomes Licensing@Russia!

Licensing@Russia - January 2012

The organisers of the forthcoming Licensing@Russia show have announced that a host of major licensing names will be attending the eagerly anticipated event, which will take place in Moscow on March 14-16, at the state-of-the-art Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre – one of the biggest exhibition facilities in the world.

Licensing@Russia promises a fascinating insight into the vast and largely-untapped Russian and CIS markets - the event will include company and property presentations, screenings and a comprehensive conference programme designed for those within the region and for international visitors to learn more about the local market. More detailed information will be available shortly.

With new bookings coming in every day, industry participants confirmed to date include event partners Plus Licens and Rio Licensing – with both companies taking an active role during Licensing@Russia, whilst other in attendance will include Dreamworks, Hasbro, European Licensing Company (ELC), Turner Enterprises, Megalicens, Art & Design RU, Carmen Ariza Licensing, Total Licensing, Brandora, Studio 100, Entertainment One, Black & White Licensing/JELC, Vipoland, All Media Russia, Endemol, Tekma, Withit, Fremantle Media, CBA, and BBC Worldwide.

The timing of show has been specifically set to coincide with other hugely important events taking place in the same pavilion at Crocus Expo and at the same time - most importantly Скрепка/Skrepka International Stationery Expo and the Детство/Toys & Kids Russia 2012.

“Skrepka the International Stationery Expo and Toys & Kids Russia attract more than 15,000 professionals between them - the synergy between Licensing@Russia and these events is obvious and a large number of these visitors will attend Licensing@Russia,” explains Zeljko William Krnjak from the LIMA New Europe office in Moscow. “The reaction to the show has already been absolutely amazing and we are very excited about welcoming overseas delegations from Europe and the United States – clearly now is a great time to be entering the Russia marketplace and Licensing@Russia is the way to do it!”

In addition to the toy and stationery events, the Crocus Expo Centre will also be playing host at the same time to the biggest specialized exhibitions in the souvenir market, household goods industry, houseware products and the fast food industry.

Licensing@Russia is the only licensing event in the region that has official LIMA representation in attendance. It is organised by a partnership between Magnum Opus company, Licensing New Europe and the SKREPKA EXPO.

Media and Communication partners include BRANDORA, Total Licensing, Guide to the Licensing World, Licensing Vestnik, EPM Communications, LICOM, CEE.TV, Business New Europe, BBCG, License Time, Total Licensing New Europe, Total Licensing Italy and Moscow in Your Pocket.
