The organisers of the forthcoming Licensing@Russia show have announced that The Walt Disney Company CIS LLC will be attending the eagerly anticipated event! Licensing@Russia will take place in Moscow on March 14-16, at the state-of-the-art Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre – one of the biggest exhibition facilities in the world. The event promises a fascinating insight into the vast and largely untapped Russian and CIS markets and will include company and property presentations, screenings and a comprehensive conference programme designed for those within the region and international visitors to learn more about licensing and the local market. The announcement means that a section of Licensing@Russia will now be dedicated to all things Disney, with special presentations and screenings of Disney brands taking place. Attendance will be limited to 200 delegates so visitors are being encouraged to register their interest early. “Having Disney at the show is fantastic news,” says Zeljko William Krnjak, official Moscow-based LIMA representative in the New Europe region. “This confirms Licensing@Russia as the premiere trade show in the region and demonstrates our ability to attract the industry’s most respected and influential figures.” Event partners ELC, Plus Licens and Rio Licensing are also taking an active role during Licensing@Russia, whilst other in attendance will include Dreamworks, Warner Bros., Nike, Hasbro, Megalicens, Art & Design RU, Carmen Ariza Licensing, Total Licensing, BRANDORA, Studio 100, Entertainment One, Black & White Licensing/JELC, Vipoland, All Media, Endemol, Withit, Fremantle Media, CBA, Guide to the Licensing World, MONDO TV, The Bella Sara Company, BBC Worldwide, Matrix Video Group, Vita Nova Agency, TOEI ANIMATION, Eaglemoss Collections, CTC Media, MEI Theatrical Europe Ltd, Fashion UK, Kidz Global, Jantar Projekt, Dorna and many others. The timing of show has been specifically set to coincide with other hugely important events taking place in the same pavilion at Crocus Expo and at the same time - most importantly Скрепка/Skrepka International Stationery Expo and the Детство/Toys & Kids Russia 2012 – a synergy that is set to attract more than 15,000 professionals, amongst more then 500 exhibitors. In addition to the toy and stationery events, the Crocus Expo Centre will also be playing host at the same time to the biggest specialized exhibitions in the souvenir market, household goods industry, houseware products and the fast food industry. Licensing@Russia is the only licensing event in the region that has official LIMA representation in attendance.
