Star Speakers Announced For Licensing@Russia!

The organisers of the forthcoming Licensing@Russia show have revealed a stellar line-up of speakers for the eagerly anticipated event, which will take place in Moscow on March 14-16 at the state-of-the-art Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.

The list of licensing luminaries speaking at the event will include:

Charles Riotto - As President of LIMA, Charles Riotto has guided the association through a period of unprecedented growth in the licensing industry. He is widely regarded as a leading spokesman for the industry and his views are regularly sought by major media outlets; Charles is recognised in the global licensing community for his commitment to expanding the success and scope of the industry, and to the increasing recognition of licensing as an effective and vital component of successful marketing programmes.

Leigh Anne Brodsky – Leigh Anne Brodsky served for twelve years as President of Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products and is currently an active member of the Toy Industry Association Board of Directors, as well as an inductee of LIMA’s Licensing Industry Hall of Fame. Leigh Anne is responsible for turning Rugrats and Blues Clues into successful properties and spearheaded the development and growth of SpongeBob SquarePants, transforming it into a licensing legend and megabrand, as well as creating a licensing juggernaut with Nickelodeon’s Latina character, Dora the Explorer.

Gregory Economos - Gregory Economos is Senior Vice President, Global Consumer Products for Sony Pictures Consumer Products, the division of Sony Pictures Entertainment that manages the licensing and merchandising efforts for major film and television brands such as Men In Black, Ghostbusters, The Smurfs and Pan Am. Prior to joining Sony, Gregory worked at Saban Entertainment and at Fox Kids and Fox Family Worldwide, overseeing business and legal affairs for its consumer products, marketing and internet groups.

Toper Taylor – Toper Taylor is President and COO of Cookie Jar Entertainment. Among the most respected executives in children's and family entertainment, Taylor co-founded Cookie Jar with Michael Hirsh in 2004 and has helped build the company into a global industry leader, successfully leading the development, production, distribution, and marketing of eight new productions with anchor broadcast destinations in the US. Prior to founding Cookie Jar, Taylor was president of Nelvana for more than a decade.

Greg Battersby – A much-respected figure in the licensing world, Greg Battersby is a senior partner at US-based intellectual property law firm Grimes & Battersby, LLP. He has more than 35 years of experience in intellectual property and licensing law and has negotiated and drafted thousands of license agreements in the product development, patent, trademark and merchandising fields and also has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions. For the past 15 years, he has served as General Counsel for LIMA and was recently inducted into the Licensing Industry Hall of Fame.

Adam Berg - A 25-year licensing industry veteran, Adam Berg is Senior Vice-President, Membership and New Business Development at LIMA and is responsible for membership growth strategy and identifying and developing opportunities within various segments of the global licensing industry. Prior to his role at LIMA, Adam enjoyed a lengthy career with Equity Management, a leading trademark licensing firm, where he most recently served as Senior Vice-President, Licensing Sales.

Louise French – Louise French is Associate Vice-President at The Beanstalk Group, one of the world’s leading licensing agencies, specialising in corporate, celebrity, fashion and digital entertainment brands. With offices in London, New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong, Beanstalk has worked with some of the world’s most respected brands over the past 25 years and current clients include Harley-Davidson, Jaguar, Land Rover, Braun, Talking Friends, MovieStarPlanet, Paris Hilton, Aquascutum and Jaeger.

Licensing@Russia is the only licensing event in the region that has official LIMA representation in attendance. It is organised by a partnership between Magnum Opus company, Licensing New Europe and the SKREPKA EXPO.
