Arff is tasked with developing and maximising category expansion and property management for Viacom International Media Network’s diverse portfolio of family entertainment including evergreen franchises, Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants, as well smash hit music-based live action phenomenon, Victorious. She will also work closely with NVCP's retail department.
Arff – who joins the business from Endemol where she was Senior Manager Business Development for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe – starts with NVCP in March and will be based in Berlin. She will report to Andreas Niedergesäss, Vice President, Nickelodeon/Viacom Consumer Products North. Category Sales Manager Victoria Stettnisch will report to Arff.
Commenting on the appointment, Niedergesäss says: “Bettina brings to NVCP a wealth of experience and an unbeatable depth of knowledge on licensed consumer products in the GAS markets. She was responsible for establishing and developing the merchandise and licensing business for major brands, such as Big Brother, across the territories.”
Prior to Endemol, Arff was Sales Manager GSA for Fremantle Media. |
