Smiley powers through with several new deals starting with a 3 year back-to-school deal for both the Smiley Society and Smiley brands with licensee Stationery Team who will produce a diverse range of products including backpacks, bags, iphone cases, notebooks and diaries just to name a few and will be sold throughout Europe (excluding France) and the Middle East. And for the Southern European markets (including Portugal, Spain and Andorra) licensee Sportandem have been appointed to create a back-to-school range of SmileyWorld stationery.

Smiley’s fashion portfolio continues to grow with the addition of Asian license Good Speed who will create a range of SmileyWorld apparel including t-shirts, hoodies, tank-tops and sweatshirts which will be available throughout Japan. Luxury knitwear producers Pearl Source, who sell under the Bypac brand, will create a third collection of cashmere pieces to mark the 40th anniversary of the company under the ‘Smiley-Happy Cashmere’ brand. The collection will be sold throughout Hong Kong and China in their own luxury brand stores which can be found in some of the best hotels in HK including the iconic Peninsula and Mandarin Oriental hotels as well as a whole host of shopping malls throughout HK and China. Popular European retailer Cool Cat have just launched their SmileyWorld Spring/Summer 12 collections for men and women into all their stores.

Finally, Renault has launched another promotion using the Original Smiley logo as the face of their new summer campaign throughout France. They will give away a whole host of premiums to their existing customers as a thank you for their valued custom including; beach towels, beach balls, beach bags and confectionary throughout the month of May just in time for the holiday season.
