As a Licensing & Sales Manager you will be working within a global corporation with internal design, development and manufacturing capabilities. The Licensing & Sales Manager is reporting to the head of licensing and marketing as well as to the head of sales (for the sales part).
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: International Licensing:
- Identify & develop new and manage existing licensee and agency relationships across multiple product categories locally and internationally.
- Ensure each contract is executed in a timely manner by liaising with licensees, agencies and with internal teams around the world regularly
- Organize and supervise the execution of licensed product and ensure approval processes are followed on a timely basis
- Prepare compelling powerpoint presentations for local and international clients as well as licensee meetings/workshops
- Liaise with key retail partners, FMCG companies and other relevant industries in Benelux in order to negotiate and execute promotions
Sales Benelux:
- Setting sales targets for the market / region
- Developing sales strategies and setting targets
- Securing and maintaining new businesses
- Monitoring and maintaining daily contact with current accounts, including agencies and distributors
- Arranging meetings and visiting customers
- Compiling and analyzing sales figures
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 2-5 years sound dedicated licensing, sales, marketing experience in toys/kids sector
- Good knowledge about or already existing contact to retailers, wholesalers, licensees
- Demonstrate good and effective selling skills
- Strong ability to work autonomous, self-motivated, enthusiastic in a multinational environment and company setup across the globe in different time zones
- Hard-working, results and team-oriented. Ability to work under pressure and multi task.
- Possess excellent time management, ability to manage projects upon verbal briefing from superior and have strong organizational skills proactively towards superior and task execution, operating well with little supervision but team-oriented.
- Competent/familiar with licensing and sales contracts, licensing approvals and financials
- Assertive, fast moving and responsive, problem solver
- Paying attention to detail, service-minded
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Focused upon the development of long term commercial relationships rather than short term gain
- Willingness to travel and a valid driver license
