It´s Off To The Woods With The Woodlies And Minika, Turkey

Studio 100 Media GmbH, a subsidiary of Belgium’s leading family entertainment group Studio 100 has sealed a license deal with Turkey’s leading kids network Minika. The newly launched Turkish children’s network has acquired the animation series Woodlies (26 x 24 mins).

The agreement gives Minika free television and VOD rights for the animated series over a five-year period. Targeted at six to eleven year olds Woodlies is produced by Woodlies Pty Ltd in association with Telegael Teoranta, Channel 7 (Australia) and ZDF (Germany). The hybrid series combining 3D and 2D animation is directed by Alex Stadermann, Brad Greenwood and Alex White.

Created by multiple award-winning children’s author Cornelia Funke, renowned for her worldwide bestsellers including “Thief Lord", "Inkheart" and "Dragon Rider", Woodlies is a vibrant and comical show, combining adventures with ecological and environmental issues.
