Nickelodeon, Belgium based production partner Studio 100 and UK based co-producer Lime Pictures today announced plans to produce a third season of the daily hit, mystery-adventure series House of Anubis. The series will resume production in the UK with Studio 100 and Lime Pictures.
House of Anubis follows a group of students who uncover and solve hidden mysteries at an English boarding school while dealing with the highs and lows of their teenage years. The first season of House of Anubis launched in the U.S. and Nick channels around the world in 2011. The second season recently aired in the US and will roll out in other territories.
Based on the format, HET HUIS ANUBIS, the series was originally produced for Nickelodeon in the Benelux countries and is in its sixth season in Belgium and the Netherlands. The German-language version, DAS HAUS ANUBIS, went on air in September 2009.
To date viewers are able to watch the series in Holland (HET HUIS ANUBIS), Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DAS HAUS ANUBIS), the UK, the USA, Australia (HOUSE OF ANUBIS), Sweden (HUSET ANUBIS), Croatia (KUCA ANUBIS) and Mexico (LA CASA DE ANUBIS). |
