The licensing community is being urged to leap into action and book their tickets to LIMA UK’s Licensing Essentials Course and Spring Fling Networking party, taking place on Thursday 17th May at the five-star Wyndham Grand Hotel in Chelsea Harbour, London. This year over 40 buyers from retailers such as Tesco, John Lewis, Boots, Avon and Sainsbury’s will be attending, representing a wide range of categories including fashion, toys, home, cosmetics and personal care. LIMA’s earlybird discounts end on Monday 30th April and are available to members and non-members booking a ticket for both the Licensing Essentials Course and the Spring Fling event. LIMA Members currently pay £299 + VAT (£350 + VAT after 30th April) and non-members pay £360 + VAT (£400 + VAT after 30th April). Concessions are available for students. This year’s subjects will include how to tap into the mega-market of India, how children interact with digital and mobile apps and how retailers can best profit from licensing. The evening event will kick off at 5pm with the Legendary Licensing Debate, a lively and provocative panel discussion on licensing, sponsored by ITV Global Studios. The debate features a panel of licensing industry leaders who will take questions from the audience and discuss some of the most pressing issues in licensing today.
