Fox Consumer Products EMEA (FCP) is proud to announce a pan European licensing partnership with Rubies for an adult dress-up range for The Simpsons. Fans of the hit TV show can now enjoy the ultimate role-play experience, as they dress up as Homer, Marge, Bart or Krusty the Clown! The deluxe collection of Simpsons costumes will debut at retail in August 2012. Rubies are also developing an entry price point range that will be launched for Spring Summer 2013.

FCP and Rubies continue to enjoy a long standing successful global relationship on a range of properties including Glee, Avatar, Edward Scissorhands and The Addams Family. The Simpsons licensing agreement is exclusive to the EMEA region and is the first time that Rubies has worked directly with the FCP EMEA licensing team.

“A key component of the enduring success of The Simpsons has been the appeal, fun nature and recognisable appearance of the iconic yellow characters” said Carl Lumbard Fox Consumer Products EMEA SVP & MD. “Rubies have done a terrific job creating costumes based on the characters from the show which promises to bring a whole lot of pleasure to Halloween and dress up parties everywhere.”

Holly Oldham, Media and Licensing Manager at Rubies said, “As costume designers and manufacturers The Simpsons is a dream property. We have absolutely no doubt that Homer, Marge, Bart and Krusty will rank amongst our best selling costumes and we hope that this is the start of a long and very successful relationship with FCP EMEA.”

The Simpsons boasts unrivalled TV exposure worldwide and currently airs everyday on Channel 4 and Sky1 in the UK. This year, the hit TV show reaches a record breaking 500th episode and in 2014 the Simpsons will celebrate their landmark 25th Anniversary.
