Car rides are far from boring thanks to the new “tiptoi® Ratespaß auf Reisen”. The tiptoi® pen sets exciting trivia, puzzle, and guessing tasks that involve children’s immediate surroundings. On their way children learn a lot about traffic and road safety and engage in creative activities. The little bag with pen and tachograph disc easily fits into every hand luggage and keeps up to three children aged four to eight in a good travel mood.

Start the engine, open your bag and switch on your tiptoi® pen: The new travel game - featuring Hampel the funny little traffic light man - is ready to start. Hampel and the tiptoi® pen lead children through a series of trivia games, questions, and tasks, they ask questions, provide the answers and awards points. And each player counts their own points with the red needle on their tachograph disc. Hampel asks: “Who is the first to discover a petrol station?” All children look out of the windows. Whoever is the first to spot a petrol station outside, snatches the tiptoi® pen and taps at the exclamation mark on their tachograph disc. And Hampel awards first winning points. Tap at the question mark and take on the next task: “Guess how many red cars will pass within the next two minutes.” Or guess if the next song on the radio is sung by a man or a woman. Whoever guesses correctly may move their speedometer needle ahead. In addition to observation tasks and easy questions on traffic and road safety the entertainment programme also features self-made rhymes and funny riddles. The back of the tachograph disc shows essential traffic signs that children get to know in the game. When a player makes it to the red area on their speedometer, every player is given a last chance to win points. Each game is different, because the tiptoi® picks tasks and questions randomly and draws on the creativity of young players. |
tiptoi® Ratespaß auf Reisen can be played only with the original tiptoi® pen by Ravensburger, which is sold separately. Parents simply transfer the free audio file from the internet to the pen. The game is available at specialized toys stores and book shops at 13 Euros, the pen at a price of 35 Euro. |
